Jonathan Rickard is a chartered architect with more than 30 years’ experience working both in private practice and, more recently, in the regulated housing sector with Radian, an award-winning provider of over 19000 social and affordable rented homes across eight counties. At Radian he has held several roles from leading on design and compliance through to heading up a land and planning team which has given him experience across the whole development sector from land assembly to completion of finish projects. In his current role he has taken on the challenge of establishing an in house construction capability (Radian Build) with a target to contribute towards the delivery of 600 mixed tenure homes that Radian build each year. Jonathan is a champion of good design ensuring place making, robust construction and high levels of sustainability are integrated into the homes Radian build. Jonathan regularly contributes to the work of housing groups, is past
chair of the RIBA in Hampshire, is a corresponding member of the RIBA housing group, is a Board Member of BCHA and is a Non-Executive Director of SECBE.
