The GHA will support SEC’s breadth of knowledge and resource which they use to support members with newly built, high performing homes, with a further ambition forward to learning in suppot for their ‘One Sustainable Public Estate’ programme in partnership with the UK Business Council for Sustainable Development.

Following the launch of their Sustainable Homes Matrix earlier this year, SEC are continuing to support customers with their decarbonisation journeys and helping them to deliver truly affordable and sustainable homes for residents to thrive in.

“The pressure for higher performing new homes being built in the social housing sector is great. This is one of the reasons SEC are pleased to join the Good Homes Alliance. The resource and expertise from GHA will truly support our 49 Members to build more sustainable homes that are fit for the future. As part of the growing relationship we are also pleased to welcome Good Homes Alliance onto our ‘One Sustainable Public Estate’ programme following our Sustainable Homes Matrix launch earlier this year.”

David Smith, Head of Business Partnerships, South East Consortium

“We’re really pleased to have SEC as new members, procurement of housing that aims for net zero is still a challenge to our members and the more choice that is available within the supply chain is critical in allowing them to succeed in their aims. SEC fully recognise this and that’s why we see them as well aligned with the GHAs aims. We look forward to working with SEC to help grow the number of net zero homes being delivered.”
