Do you work for a developer, housing association or local authority housing delivery arm in South West England? If so, we invite you to a FREE to attend, invite-only event to hear from those working at the cutting-edge to deliver low-energy, high quality and healthy homes.

The event takes places on Wednesday 3rd October, 13:30-17:00 at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter and is the third in a series of events taking place as part of our 2018 Vanguard Campaign. Speakers from Exeter City Council, Melius Homes and HAB Housing are confirmed for the event.

The aim of the campaign is to showcase the work of architects, developers and local authorities in the region who are designing and delivering homes to higher sustainability standards. These ‘Vanguards’ will demonstrate what is possible and how they achieved it, with the aim of inspiring others to do the same.

Many local authority housing departments and progressive developers are keen to develop housing to higher standards, as this will lead to better health and well-being for occupants, help reduce fuel poverty, and create better neighbourhoods.

So far, the campaign has reached over 100 public and private housing providers and developers via seminars in Cambridge and Leeds, and over the longer-term, case studies and common factors for success from those involved in the campaign will be disseminated to a national audience. Click here for more information.
