GHA and the Future Buildings Standard

Following the conclusion of the Future Homes Standard consultation, the government has now opened up the Future Buildings Standard for consultation, which covers topics relating to Part L (conservation of fuel and power) and Part F (ventilation) of the Building Regulations for non-domestic buildings and dwellings; and overheating in new residential buildings.

Calling all GHA members! Submit your own consultation response by 13th April, 11:45pm

There is a short window for GHA members and wider industry to submit their own responses to the consultation. LETI has produced a handy ‘How to Guide’, plus example answers for both short and detailed responses. On Thursday 8th April at 1pm, LETI is hosting a short 30-minute webinar to discuss the key issues and give further detail on how to respond to the consultation.

Find out more and download the example answers here – https://www.leti.london/part-l.

We encourage all of our members to respond to the consultation by the deadline. You can respond online or via email. Find out more information here – https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/the-future-buildings-standard.

GHA’s response to the consultation

In addition, the GHA will be submitting its own response to the consultation and collaborating with like-minded organisations on a direct response to Government. If you have any queries, please contact richard@goodhomes.org.uk.
