In early January, we’ll be publishing our response to the Future Homes and Part F & L consultations, outlining the stepped approaches we believe are required to meet the UK’s net zero targets.
There was clear demand at our sold-out Net Zero and Future Homes Conference on 19th November for a collaborative and consistent response to the consultations. We support the work of LETI, UKGBC, Passivhaus Trust and others in encouraging industry to take action and urge all of our members and conference attendees to respond before the deadline (now extended to 7th February).
We believe it’s more important than ever for local authorities to be able to set their own sustainability standards in order to meet their climate emergency commitments. Through our growing Local Authority Vanguard network, which met for its first members’ workshop last month in London, we’re seeking to support LAs in the development of healthier, net zero homes within their boroughs.
