T2 architects is an award winning, design-led practice, specialising in progressive housing design. We have chosen to do one thing and to do it well; to design great places to live. To achieve this, we have built a team of experts in architectural design, sustainability, planning, and conservation. This includes having our own in-house certified Passivhaus Designer, MRTPI Planning Consultant, and an accredited Conservation Architect. Having these disciplines working directly together allows us to offer a more comprehensive service to our clients.
We listen to our clients, analyse their site, create design options to fulfil their brief, ultimately deliver buildings we are all proud of. We work with a wide range of Clients across the country and work hard to understand their individual needs. We have good experience of working with Local Authorities, Developers and House Builders, and individual Homeowners.
We fuse modern design and building practices with our respect for tradition, creating buildings that are of their time, of today. We create architecture which is context driven, robust, distinctive, sustainable and profitable.
We advocate designing buildings that reduce operational energy consumption, and provide a comfortable environment for the occupants of the building. We are currently delivering a number of low energy projects to Passivhaus and AECB building standards, as well as having completed projects to BREEAM, including up to Excellent level.
We are an RIBA Chartered Practice, as well as being members of the Passivhaus Trust, AECB, and are delighted to be members of the Good Homes Alliance.
Our approach is unpretentious and straight talking. We like to keep things simple.
