You will no doubt be aware of the forthcoming Global Climate Strike taking place on September 20th 2019. Greta Thunberg, who pioneered the school strike for climate movement, has invited everyone to support the youth climate strikers and make a stand for climate justice. The Good Homes Alliance is fully supportive of this day of action and urges all of its members to take part in whichever way they can.

The Good Homes Alliance will have a presence at the Bristol Global Climate Strike which meets at College Green, Bristol, United Kingdom, BS1 5TJ, starting at 11am. Look out for the GHA banner or call Julian Brooks on 07980 706 838.

For those based in London we recommend joining with the UKGBC who is calling upon their members and other supporters from the built environment sector to meet at The Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London WC1E 7BT, at 11:45, with the intention of marching to the main demonstration in Westminster.

For those that want to take to the streets, you can find your nearest strike at ukscn.org/events.

Otherwise please make your support for climate justice as loud and visible as possible (via social media, posters, e-mail signatures etc.) and lobby your MP, Councillors and whoever you feel is appropriate.

Good luck with your actions on 20th September and please do share your stories with the GHA – info@goodhomes.org.uk, @good_homes, #goodhomes, #goodhomesforall.

Together we will make a difference.
