The 2017 UK Passivhaus Conference will be chaired by Emma Osmundsen of Exeter City Council, one of the GHA’s latest developer members.
The conference will feature case studies of the leading projects from 2017, with a particular focus this year on social housing and education projects and a keynote session to examine the role of Passivhaus within a low carbon future.
The ‘Passivhaus futures‘ sessions will focus on two key themes that emerged from almost twenty enthusiastic submissions: “Health & wellbeing in Passivhaus buildings” and “Embodied carbon and Passivhaus”. These topics will be explored through a series of short presentations and an expert-moderated discussion panel.
The conference will also include Technical Tasters, offering the chance for conference delegates to experience ‘hands-on’ training from leading practitioners in the industry, and Policy and Procurement seminars, highlighting how Government and clients are encouraging uptake of Passivhaus around the UK.
The GHA is a supporter of this year’s conference and GHA members can purchase tickets at a reduced price of £200 +VAT.
