Ventilation is a key consideration for new build and retrofit – providing fresh air, controlling excess humidity, filluting airborne pollutants and brining in air for fuel burning appliances. The update to Part F Building Regulations – Approved Document F: Ventilation, came into effect in June 2022. This features several key changes and links closely with the updated Part L. Ventilation also appears in the new Part O – Overheating.

Air pollution is becoming a significant problem and creating toxic homes. Over 15 million homes are at risk, with 40,000 deaths a year linked to air pollution and other considerable risk factors to occupant health.

Join the Good Homes Alliance and Ian Palmer, Head of UK Specification from industry leading ventilation specialists, Airflow Developments, to understand what developers and house builders need to do to assess the ventilation needs for healthy homes and to comply with the building regulations.
