The Sustainable Traditional Buildings Alliance (STBA) brings together the UK's leading organisations working on the conservation and improvement of traditional buildings, and is the UK Centre of Excellence for Traditional Buildings. It is the home of Responsible Retrofit and one of the founders of the Whole House Approach in the UK. Its Responsible Retrofit Guidance Wheel, survey tool and research on moisture, materials and natural insulation help practitioners make sound decisions about retrofitting older homes. Like the Good Homes Alliance, STBA is part of the Sustainable Development Foundation family.
