Good Homes Alliance (GHA) is pleased to announce that we are now an official partner of the 2026 Housing Design Awards.
A key challenge in housing design in recent years has been ensuring that quality, sustainability and long-term performance remain central to decision-making. Through this new partnership, GHA will help strengthen the climate resilience and energy performance criteria within the awards, reinforcing the importance of delivering homes that are fit for a changing climate.
As part of this collaboration, our Chair, Dr Tom Dollard, will join the judging panel. Tom leads on sustainable design at Pollard Thomas Edwards and has played a key role in shaping GHA’s industry-leading work on low-energy housing, building performance and climate-responsive design.
The Housing Design Awards have long recognised excellence in residential development across the UK. In recent years, a number of GHA members have received awards, including Howells, HTA Design, PRP, Levitt Bernstein and Pollard Thomas Edwards. Other GHA members shortlisted have included Studio Partington and Cullinan Studio.
Entry Deadline Approaching
There are now just two weeks remaining to submit entries.
All schemes with planning approval by the date the judges meet (Thursday 19 March) are eligible. The submission deadline is midday on 10 March.
We encourage GHA members and the wider network to submit their schemes and contribute to raising the bar for climate-ready homes.
