About this event
Join Woodknowledge Wales, The Good Homes Alliance and the Building Performance Network for a webinar on how to meet the new Welsh Development Quality Requirements to undertake as-built assessment and post occupancy evaluation of the performance of homes in relation to design intent.
Event Summary
We know that the homes we build often fail to meet the standards we design them to achieve. This “Performance Gap” is a challenge we must tackle by moving to a performance-based, rather than a design-based approach. There are a range of tools and techniques to help us minimise the performance gap. This webinar is an introduction to Building Performance Evaluation (BPE) and its use in housing projects and will demonstrate the use of guidance developed by Woodknowledge Wales, providing examples of the BPE support available from Woodknowledge Wales.
